Exhibition “All is Super”

“Super” is a typographic exhibition exploring the possibilities of different 3D effects with the help of a display alphabet. Each letter with its highlights and shadows is hand drawn, cut and painted specifically for this exhibition. The final artwork consists of several layers of distinctive effects in various techniques in order to achieve an interesting multidimensional composite. “Super” is also Linda’s nickname, a part of her alias, so the artwork further nods to its surroundings by following the tagging tradition. The piece is Linda’s large scale signature on the Metelkova walls. Other than serving as a source of inspiration the piece will hopefully bring joy to people thus elevate their moods and present a kind of positive mantra for a public space in these unusual times.

? Linda Söderholm is a graphic designer, lover of hip-hop culture and typography enthusiastic from Finland. First time she came to Slovenia in 2013 and since then she has been an active member of the local sports and culture association GOR. Linda holds a Master’s degree in New Media, but is nowadays more interested in more traditional handcrafts and analog art. Lately she has been busy in learning the art of hand lettering and sign painting – the techniques she has also used to put together her exhibition at Night Gallery Pešak.
