The workshop “Deep 3D lettering” will tackle this problem deeply – with adding depth. How can I infuse a third dimension? How to create perspective? How to pull them out of the paper surface? Where, if even, the volume of the letter is hiding?

At the advanced typography workshop we will think about, write and paint with different approaches for creating a letter, number or inscription which has a sense of space. We will learn shading, mapping and designing tricks which can help us in creating a variety of bigger graphic pieces.

✅ The workshop is suitable for youth and adults (15 years and older)

? Helena Cimperšek Božič was made for creating: with a pencil, brush, vectors and pixels, with a camera and also with voice on the microphone. She loves most to narrate stories and to draw letters. She acquired her formal education as a graphic designer in the department of textiles, graphic and design, course of graphic and interactive communication. She works as a freelance graphic designer, pedagogue and vocal interpreter/announcer. She’s a multimedia artist, currently engaged in graphic design, typography, lettering and educating. Her design works were rewarded multiple times and mentioned or put on display in many different group exhibitions. She was perfecting her knowledge in Tipobrda workshops under guidance of many local and foreign mentors.

✅ All the supplies for a relaxed and creative atmosphere in the workshop including materials and protective equipment (masks, gloves, sanitizer) will be provided by us. Because of the colourful nature of the workshop we recommend appropriate clothing and shoes.
