Children and parents are invited to lettering workshops: instructive and fun workshops for children and youth where you paint: letters! (and numbers and punctuations and these sorts of things).

“Typing letters left, typing letters right, up, down. It’s not working it doesn’t fit and everything’s the same.” Typical inability that happens when we want to find on the computer already generated letters that would fit our wishes. Let them be: “I choose my own frame! I choose my own slogan! I choose my own letters! I choose my own style! Sketching, shading, drawing lines and colour…So good!” I move, knead, stretch and squeeze them everywhere I want. And so I can make my own lettering package.

✅ The workshop is suitable for elementary and high-school youth (8 years and up).

? Helena Cimperšek Božič was made for creating: with a pencil, brush, vectors and pixels, with a camera and also with voice on the microphone. She loves most to narrate stories and to draw letters. She acquired her formal education as a graphic designer in the department of textiles, graphic and design, course of graphic and interactive communication. She works as a freelance graphic designer, pedagogue and vocal interpreter/announcer. She’s a multimedia artist, currently engaged in graphic design, typography, lettering and educating. Her design works were rewarded multiple times and mentioned or put on display in many different group exhibitions. She was perfecting her knowledge in Tipobrda workshops under guidance of many local and foreign mentors.

✅ All the supplies for a relaxed and creative atmosphere in the workshop including materials and protective equipment (masks, gloves, sanitizer) will be provided by us. Because of the colourful nature of the workshop we recommend appropriate clothing and shoes.
